Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You follows Sasaki, an overworked salaryman who finds brief relief smoking behind his local supermarket after long workdays. Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None - 9/10

My pick of the season, this Anime is brilliant. It is a little cookie cutter with other Anime in this genre but any Anime that make you wish you could invent a time machine so that you can go one week into the future is a good anime.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 - 9/10

I really enjoyed the second season of Frieren and it continued from season 1 beautifully. If you haven’t watched the first season, DO IT. I highly recommend it.

Sentenced to Be a Hero - 8/10

Loved this Anime! The whole story (spoiler) where it is actually counts against you to be a hero was Brilliant. The artwork was beautiful and the story grips you, especially why the MC became a hero and his relationship with his new Goddess

Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing - 7/10

I enjoyed the whole gamer aspect of the Anime as I am big into Games and MMO’s but I felt this anime started strong but the fizzled out a bit towards the end.

Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling - 6/10

Fun anime to watch but don’t take it seriously. Lot’s of fun moments and a semi good storyline, if you need a Anime to help you pass the time and like Isekai, then this is the Anime for you.

To me the best fantasy anime of the year. The two main characters are very likable, the world building is well-seasoned and the animation is beautiful. Eleven out of Ten.

Chickens fighting giant demons? Attack on Titan but with chickens? A rooster with a Goku-type Kamehameha attack…. Need I say more. This anime is ridiculous, my type of ridiculous nine out of Ten!

Myne’s journey is epic. I like the cast of characters, and the storytelling is solid. Nine out of Ten.

A faithful retelling of the original series from 1984.

BAKA anime of the season - The Great Sage Ryddel and the Hands of Time

The choice to use these “slideshow” animations is what caused me to drop this series after about 5 minutes.

BAKA anime of the season - The strongest job is apparently not a hero or a sage, but an appraiser (provisional)!

The art is okay, but the fact that they tried (and failed) to tell two stories at the same time ruined the flow for me.

Witch hat

Good anime, interesting story, did not expect it to be so engaging or attention grabbing. Definitely worth the watch.

Kusunoki-tei

I liked it. Though I like slightly off beat anime. The way they handled the spirit world was an interesting departure from the norm.

Hime kishi

Didn’t get very far in watching it, but that’s more on me than the anime, I got busy and life happened…. Still gonna finish it. Definitely not what I expected, but in a good way.

Witch Hat Atelier’s blend of amazing animation and cinematography, was absolutely sublime. The story builds wonderfully as we follow Coco the main character as she learns to become a witch. For a slice of Life anime, it has a dark background.
