Himesama "Goumon" no Jikan desu (Tis Time for "Torture," Princess)

A little silly, okay maybe very silly but a very fun anime to watch especially the different “types” of torture they dream up to torment the Princess with.

Ninja Kamui

Oh my goodness, what can I say that is not good about this anime. Beautifully drawn and the story line is top class. I can’t wait to see the next episode and the Ninja’s special powers.

Dungeon Meshi (Delicious In Dungeon)

How to have fun with food in a Dungeon would make a person think, “how does this make for a good anime” but it makes for a great anime. Two thumbs up on story line and how at times you are mesmerised by the food and how one sad elf is going to react to the new delicasies and forgetting what the actual mission is.

Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha (The Unwanted Undead Adventurer)

I really enjoyed this anime. A fun light-hearted adventure series that makes you actually want to see the Hero get stronger and make Mithril Class as an adventurer even if he is dead.

Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End)

I left the best until last. Not this season but I only started watching recently and what a ride. You don’t know if you want to laugh or cry in this series as it shows how mortal we are when compared to a being that is more than 1000 years old and you see the passing of time and the consequences. I can see why this anime is being listed already as one of the best anime’s ever made.

Kusuriya no hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries)

This is by far the best anime I have seen this year. The attention to detail to historical costumes and lifestyle of the era, the brilliant animation, super amazing voice talents. This anime deserves standing ovations. The novelist that wrote this series have my respect.

Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata Senjou wo Kakeru Kaifuku Youin (How to use healing wrongly)

A hilarious isekai. I like the fact that the main character is not OP from the beginning. The girl that gets isekai’d with him is hilarious (she is an isekai otaku). I really enjoyed the anime and like how the magic system works especially healing magic to be specific.

Dungeon Meshi (Delicious In Dungeon)

 I fell in love with this franchise before the anime when I picked up the manga. The dishes the dwarf comes up with is very creative thought out by the Dungeon Meshi creator and you will never look at Animated Armor and orcs the same way after watching this. This is very entertaining ad addictive to watch.

Ishura

The anime had potential to be great but I think the first half of the anime spend too much time introducing the characters. The anime would work better as a fifty-two-episodic anime. I feel they needed to stretch the anime more out. But it is non-the-less not a bad anime. Like I said it have so much potential.

Majo to Yajuu (The Witch and the Beast)

This is urban fantasy on steroids. The witches as as fear provoking as (The original) Grimm’s Fairy tales and reminds one of Stephen King’s witches in his Dark Tower and Fairy Tale books. I really enjoyed the series.
