Uzumaki (Uzumaki: Spiral into Horror)

I was pleasantly surprised by this one, in that it’s not a sequel, as I previously expected, but a remake, and a good one at that

Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells

Yet another Isekai Fantasy with an edgy protagonist who gets shunned, for being too weak, and ends up dominating, with hard work and determination.

I Parry Everything

A classical Fantasy with a self-flagellating protagonist who gets shunned, for being too weak, and ends up dominating. A feel-good story overall.

Tower of God Season 2

As a reader of the original Webtoon series, this was a natural choice, seeing the main character change so much, compared to Season 1.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword

Another underdog story, but a pleasant one, nonetheless, seeing the main character dominate, using sword and might, in a world where magical aptitude determines one’s place in the social hierarchy.

Honourable mention: The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible

Once again, as a fan of the manga, I somehow remembered this being better than what it actually was, but still it was, by no means, bad.

Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells

Yet another tale of the hero that is isekai’d, becomes the underdog because he is deemed a weakling but ends up the OP Edgelord in the end… but I loved every bit of the anime.

I Parry Everything

The best fantasy anime this season, the hero is a dropout as an adventurer thinking he is weak while being actually a very very powerful fighter. I really like the hero and his party members a lot. Great anime

Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai: Kyou kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Life - English: Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools (Adventure, fantasy)

An enjoyable slice-of-life/Isekai Fantasy with elements of Medieval economics and underlying romance. *chef’s kiss*

Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai - English: My Wife Has No Emotion (Sci-Fi, Romance)

He is human, she is his robotic house chef, he is in love, she has the emotions of a toaster, what is not to love. Best human-falls-for-android anime since Chobits.

Isekai Shikkaku(No Longer Allowed In Another World)

An author commits suicide (with truck-kun’s help and get isekai’d to a fantasy world. He just want to die but fate has other plans for our gloom and doom hero.
