Magickal Fall

Fall season in Japan comes with a magical change of colours. Leaves turn the trees into magic bouquets of yellows, reds and browns and that starts the time honoured Japanese tradition called ‘Momoji-gari’, loosely translated as ‘hunting red leaves’, which is just as important as Hanami. It is the tradition of watching Fall leaves. As it is a new season watching new anime is also a time honoured tradition and this fall we have some great new titles coming to the home screen. The game, is afoot, as the case is ridden with links to a hidden plot linked to an election and the person in charge of it.

2. Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (Loving the story and that it is a bit tongue in cheek)

4. Kanata no Astra (This anime just gets better and better)

5. Sounan desu ka (At first I though “WTF!” but enjoying it quite a bit now)

Dr. Stone

Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru – Hilarious and pretty well researched, lost 5kg based on one of their tips.

Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e – Fell a bit on it’s face in the middle of the season but recovered well.

Yami Shibai – Japanese Ghost Stories 7 – Creepy as hell. I love it.


Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] – Story just died for me and stopped watching.

Dr Stone – Brilliant anime but I am not very intrigued by the story, that being said I enjoy the science bits that is why it is also on my honourable mentions.

Tejina-senpai – Nope, trying to be too cute and ecchi to pull in people.

5. Sounan Desu Ka? (Like watching Bear Grylls, but with cute anime girls instead)
