Linux Mangaka Mou – an anime-friendly option

Linux currently is the world’s most popular free operating system. On September 20 they released Linux Mangaka Mou. Linux Mangaka Mou, is the fifth major release of the Ubuntu-based distro. It caters people like us, the anime and manga fanatiks, providing goodies like tools for fan subbing and fan dubbing!

Developers of the Linux Mangaka Mou said the following in their release statement:
“Today the whole Animesoft team are proud to be able to announce the final stage of MOU which is based on ubuntu with the lightweight MATE desktop containing APPLE (R) and IBM (R) PowerPC 64Bit architecture scripts. As any other MANGAKA release (except ONE) you will be able to run on any 64bit PC and enjoy a out-of-box fast and complete LINUX for Anime and Manga multimedia viewing and editing purpose.”
