In Japan what is better than using anime to commemorate the reconstruction efforts of brave men and women in the wake of and earthquake and tsunami?
Well, Miyagi Prefecture commissioned the project, since these heroes worked so hard after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami.
On Friday 11 March 2011 at 14.46 Japanese Standard time, an earthquake of a 9.0 magnitude happened and caused a tsunami that reached up to 40.5 meters. This was the most powerful earthquake ever recorded to hit Japan and the fourth most powerful earthquake in the world ever recorded. About 15.891 people lost their lives….
