Dragon Ball Z
The power of anime, in the case Dragon Ball Z is so strong that it can touch a judge’s heart. Not just any type of judge, we are talking about the judges of a singing contest program. The Voice is a singing contest program that started as a Dutch program but it ‘infected’ its winning recipe all over the globe. The Thai version of the show is in its fifth season and one of its contestants have set the internet on fire with a voice that may just be stronger than Goku’s kamehameha move!
Ditthawat Chaikaewruchikorn, the last contestant to perform during a Blind Auditions episode on October 9th made four judges jump out of their chairs and freak out in awesome wonder at Chaikaewruchikorn as he tapped into their childhoods and sang “Cha-La Head-Cha-La.” the theme song for Dragon Ball Z. The whole set was going crazy and they judges begged him after his ‘stellar super Saiyan performance’ (he even did a kamehameha while singing) if he could sing them the Doraemon theme song. The talented Chaikaewruchikorn excitedly obliged them. The force is strong in this man’s voice and definitely already made him a star.
Monster Strike The Movie
The official Monster Strike The Movie website announced during the week that Japanese vocalist Naoto Inti Raymi will be singing their theme song ‘Yume no Arika’ (The hiding place of dreams). The song is also featured in a 30-second teaser, which was made available on Warner Brothers Japan’s official YouTube channel. The song’s CD release will be in Japan on December 7 and the movie will start screening in Japanese theaters on December 10th.
Directing the movie will be Shinpei Ezaki (Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation), the screenplay is the work of Taku Kishimoto (Silver Spoon) and Shizue Kaneko does animation design. The voice cast includes Maaya Sakamoto, Tomo Muranaka, Lynn, Juri Kimura, Kengo Kawanishi, Jun Fukushima, Yusuke Kobayashi, Nana Mizuki and Koichi Yamadera.
The movie is a prequel story set before the events in the ongoing Monster Strike anime series, which premiered in October 2015. The anime tells the tale of Ren Homura. He returns to his hometown, Kaminohara filled with scattered memories. The Monster Strike app is forcefully installed into his phone and the more he plays the game, tho more his scattered memories are pieced together.
