Every fanatik that has followed anime’s favourite ‘tennis royalty’ Ryoma Echizen, will be glad to know that the Prince of Tennis series is returning as an anime movie. On Saturday’s ‘TeniPuri Festa 2016 ~Kassen~’ event, the anime movie has been announced. The manga’s creator Takeshi Konomi himself made the announcement and he is serving as executive producer on the movie.

The movie features ‘untold’ stories set between the first Prince of Tennis manga and The New Prince of Tennis or The Prince of Tennis II manga, covering material that was not in either manga. The release date of the movie has not been revealed yet. The original Prince of Tennis anime span 178 episodes in 2001, followed by various OVAs, the Tennis no Ōjisama – Futari no Samurai movie in 2005, and The Prince of Tennis: Tennis no Ouji-sama Eikoku-shiki Teikyū-jō Kessen! In 2011. There also was a live-action adaptation of Prince of Tennis in 2006.

Pokémon Sun & Moon

In Pokémon Sun & Moon, Ash will not travel the Alola region as he did with Kalos, Johto and the other regions. He is finally going to school, as a transfer student, and of course, there are new Pokémon to meet and newer versions of Pokémon species we have seen through all the anime series and Pokémon games. This anime is of course inspired by the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Nintendo 3DS games and will premiere in Japan on the 17th of November.

Over the weekend, Gathering in the Pokémon House? the latest of many Pokémon variety shows had a panel of Pokémon Sun & Moon cast members Shoko-tan, Abareru-kun, Hyadain and Rinka Otani give the masses their reaction on a new extended look at the new anime.

In the extended preview, we meet Samson Oak, cousin of Pokémon poet and researcher Professor Samuel Oak, who happens to be the principal of Ash’s new school; and researcher of how Aloha region has changed Pokémon. He is also Ash’s homeroom teacher and his guardian while our hero lives in the Aloha region.

The Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games will be released on November 18th in North America and Japan followed by a November 23rd European release. The game will be available in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean and Chinese, with a player option to choose the language of preference.
