Project Itoh’s Genocidal Organ movie is going to be featured at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2016. There will a special stage show that features a screening of the first 15 minutes of the movie and will have voice actors Takahiro Sakurai and Yuichi Nakamura on a special stage in a live talk event. This will take place on October 31st. Genocidal Organ is opening in the 2017 winter season in Japanese movie theatres.

Genocidal Organ plays off in the near future where our world now is mostly ruled by either tyrannical surveillance states or ethnic violence and genocide. An intelligence agent named Clavis Shepard (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura) is tracking a dangerous terrorist leader named John Paul (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai), who is set to throw the world into even more chaos.

The movie features animation by the newly formed Geno Studio and is directed by Shukō Murase. The movie was scheduled to premiere in 2015 but was delayed due to Manglobe’s bankruptcy (Manglobe originally animated the movie.) The official website for Genocidal Organ started to stream a new teaser this week and the teaser previews the movie theme song ‘Reloaded’ by EGOIST.
