On character design (as well as animation director for the movie) is Yukiko Aikei. The theme song, ‘PLASMIC FIRE” is performed by KOTOKO x ALTIMA.

Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine will announce important news about Fairy Tail in their 35th issue on July 27th. The upcoming 35th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine will mark the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Fairy Tail manga in the magazine. We can only speculate what the news could be. It could be a new Fairy Tail spin-off, OVA, a new movie or even a new series and we are all excited to see.

Fairy Tail fanatiks will know that the manga follows the lives of the members of the Fairy Tail mage guild and that the manga already inspired two anime series, several OVAS (Original video anime), an anime movie and various manga spin-offs. There are also two OVAs that will be released this year on the magazines 58th and 59th volumes in November and December. A second movie for the Fairy Tail franchise was announced in May 2015 and a new anime series is in the works, so the announcement on the 27th holds a lot of possibilities!
