Sadako vs Kayako

If you are fanatiks that enjoy J-horror and are familiar with movie names like Ringu and Ju-On we have exciting news for you. But first let us back up and explain something. Ringu, to those who do not know, is the movie on which the American Adaptation The Ring is based on, and the movie Ju-On is the ‘Spiritual forefather’ of the ‘The Grudge’ movie, which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar. Now it seems, the ‘cursed video ghost’ Sadako and the ‘grudge spirit’ Kayako are back to haunt us all one more time… in one movie!

Starring in the movie will be the fashion model/actress Mitsuki Yamamoto (Black Butler) as Yuri, a girl who accidently get Sadako’s cursed video and Tina Tamashiro will play high school girl Suzuka who moved into the house just across from Kayako’s Cursed house. Who of them will survive as these two cursed flow into one tale?

Sadako vs Kayako is directed by Kouji Shiraishi, the master of horror that were responsible for movies like Noroi/The Curse (2005) and Occult (2009). The movie will be released on June 18th. If you are a fan of Sadako, try out the anime series Kimi ni Todoke (See picture above), it is a hilarious story of a nice girl that looks like Sadako.
