Melon Bread

Melon Bread

Melon Pan (Melon Bread)

Many of you may be familiar with Melon Bread because it has been mentioned in a lot of anime like Bleach and Shakugan no Shana and you may have had a fantasy of trying it once. Well, now you can make it for yourself because we found a nice recipe and video to show us just how to make this beloved Japanese treat.

Melon Pan also known as melon bread is a type of Japanese sweet bun made from enriched dough covered in a thin layer of cookie dough. It looks just like a rock melon (cantaloupe) when the baking process is finished and that is also where the name originated. There are different types of flavours that can be made of this bread like caramel, chocolate chip, maple syrup and fillings may include cream, flavoured cream or custard.

Here is a video that teaches us how to make the bread, for cooking tips, please follow our link: http://bit.ly/Making_Melon_Pan

The creators of the video also share the recipe on their website, please follow the link for the full recipe: http://bit.ly/Melon_Pan_Recipe
