Oolong (Dragon Ball)

About Oolong

If you followed Dragon Ball from the beginning you will know that Oolong, the shape-shifting pig used to be a main character way back in the beginning of the series almost, we met him in Episode 4 of the anime. Granted in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT he had only a very minor role, but he caused a lot of funny moments in Dragon Ball.

Spoiler Alert (The next paragraph may contain spoilers for those who did not watch Dragon Ball)

One that stood out is the day the Dragon Balls were collected and Dragon Shenron was summoned and Emperor Pilaf wanted to wish for world domination. Oolong ends up preventing the wish, jumping in quickly and telling Shenron that he wants a girl’s pair of panties. It was funny when a pair of panties fell from the sky. It was I think, the first time in anime history that the wish for a pair of women’s undergarments prevented world domination!

Akira Toriyama drew upon the character Zhu Bajie from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West in creating Oolong. Journey to the West is a Chinese classic and if you wish to learn more about this stunning story, please follow our link: http://bit.ly/Journey_To_The_West_Story
